Project Overview
All Canadian Self Storage located in North York, Ontario was seeking an aesthetically pleasing and functional door solution, which would replace their existing sectional doors.Northern Dock Systems supplied and installed two Hormann Speed-Guardian 5000 U42 doors which featured insulated urethane foam panels. All Canadian Self Storage opted to swap the standard insulated urethane foam panels and replaced them with insulated vision panels throughout the entire door to let natural light into their facility and closely match the exterior look of their building.
The Speed-Guardian 5000 U42 vision panels are designed with durability in mind. All vision panels are coated with Hormann’s exclusive Duratec finish, preventing marks and scratches which are often caused by cleaning, reducing long-term wear and tear.
In addition, every Speed-Guardian 5000 U42 door comes with Hormann’s Smart Start NXT, NEMA-4, control box which is constructed to provide protection against dust, dirt, and water. A light grid up to eight-feet high is also included as a built-in feature of this door.
All Canadian Self Storage is now able to improve the aesthetic appeal of their facility and increase safety while still maintaining their operational efficiency with Speed-Guardian 5000 U42 doors.
