THE CHALLENGE
City Buick in Toronto needed a way to seal the gaps along the bottom side of their overhead doors and manual doors. A solution was needed here to prevent prevailing wind and air from entering the building and causing discomfort to the customers and employees.
OUR SOLUTION
Northern Dock Systems created a seal against the outside temperatures by upgrading the doors with new weather seals. Here the overhead doors were fitted with a 4″ U-shaped weather seal along the bottom panel while the manual doors had a brush weather seal installed.
Both solutions were custom fitted to the doors and did not require lengthy downtime at each door and for the dealership. This was a direct result of adding mounting brackets where required to lower the mounting point – to ensure a proper seal.
With professional installation performed by Northern Dock Systems field technicians, each door was quickly upgraded preventing any delay or impact on the customers at City Buick.
