What is an Evaporative Cooler?
The Cool-Space evaporative cooler uses an 8-inch thick, cross-corrugated cooling media that is certified by GreenGuard Gold. Using water from the reservoir or hose, the Cool-Space saturates the cooling medium. Next, a quiet and powerful Big Ass Fans direct-drive fan pushes air through the cooling medium. As a result, this evaporative cooler can lower air temperatures by up to 33 °F (18 °C).
In addition, GreenGuard Gold-certified cooling media is treated with a thermosetting resin coating. This coating optimizes cooling and energy efficiency while preventing algae growth for years of trouble-free operation.
