Rotting Wood Overhead Doors
The Albion Tire & Auto Centre out of Big Boss Furniture needed their overhead doors upgraded. Their current doors were made of wood so they were rotting away and falling apart. As a result, cold air was constantly getting into the building. Furthermore, the old wood doors were heavy so it made it hard to open and close them. So the heaviness of their doors caused the door tracks to bend.

New Lightweight Aluminum Doors with Polycarbonate Panels
Big Boss Furniture reach out to Northern Dock Systems to replace their sectional doors. For the new doors, we installed lightweight aluminum doors with polycarbonate panels. Moreover, we added 3” hardware instead 2” to make them roll better. As a result of their lighter weight and smooth rolling, these aluminum doors are easier to operate manually.
Additionally, with the polycarbonate panels, the area behind the doors is much brighter. Furthermore, there are no more cold air leaks making it a more comfortable work environment.
