THE CHALLENGE
Martin Brower needed to improve their facility at the dock doors to prevent outside elements from entering. This included outside temperatures and white light.
As a leading logistics provider, Martin Brower had to ensure their facility was operating at peak efficiency and could avoid issues with loading and offloading cold storage trailers.
OUR SOLUTION
Northern Dock Systems was able to identify several products to improve safety and process times at this location.
To create a complete seal around the doorways and trailers, Nordock Rainshields and foam frame shelters were installed at 20 positions. Here a wider range of trailer heights can dock while still ensuring a tight seal on all sides of the trailer.
To improve efficiency, Nordock Airdocks (complete with 7ft wide tapered lips) were installed for fast and reliable operation. To help protecting the building and equipment, steel faced bumpers are installed to withstand the impact of trailers that reverse too quickly.
For safety, we installed DL Safety Signals to alert both drivers and employees when the trailer is loading or when the doors are closed and driver can begin to depart.
