Blue Giant Fixed Head Pad Dock Seal (BG100)
Designed to suit door openings up to 8′ W x 8′ H to 9′ W x 9′ H, the Fixed Head Pad Dock Seal provides airtight protection when servicing trailers of consistent height.
When in use, the fixed head pad dock seal enables an energy-efficient seal that keeps facilities free of airborne contaminants, pests, and inclement weather conditions.
Blue Giant Head Curtain Dock Seal (BG200)
Designed to suit door openings from 8′ W x 10′ H to 9′ W x 10′ H, the Head Curtain Dock Seal is designed to securely seal higher door openings.
The header curtain has a built-in rope and pulley system that can be raised and lowered to match varying trailer heights, keeping outdoor contaminants out and conditioned air in.

Designed to suit door openings from 8′ W x 10′ H to 9′ W x 10′ H, the Adjustable Head Pad Dock Seal’s design can accommodate a variety of trailer heights.
The foam head pad is raised and lowered on a track roller system while the torsion spring with an integral follower curtain makes it easy to create a tight seal. By sealing all gaps that could let in water or dust, the Adjustable Head Pad Dock Seal protects employees and cargo during the cross-docking process.

Check for Air or Light Leaks in Four Key Areas
An inefficient dock seal/shelter might not be the only cause of issues you are possibly facing—the performance of a dock seal/shelter directly relates to other products as well.
Check your loading dock in four key areas to determine if your dock seal or dock shelter needs to be replaced.
- Top of the trailer: Are your floors forming puddles or ice when it rains/snows? Seal the gap between the trailer top and your dock door to prevent slip and fall hazards.
- Side of the trailer: Are you noticing white light infiltration? If so, you need to modify or replace your dock seal or dock shelter.
- Dock leveler and trailer gap: Damaged goods or injuries to personnel are the biggest indicators of an uneven level between the trailer and the dock floor. Prevent injuries and damaged goods with a proper dock leveler.
- Corners of the door: Don’t forget to seal the corners of your doors, which are common areas where insects, dust and other contaminants enter the facility.
Note: Remember that performance dock bumpers and bumper projection also affect the efficiency and longevity of any dock seal or dock shelter.
