Our New Equipment Construction team worked with NorthPoint Construction to design, supply and install eight new high-speed Food-Master roll-up doors at 12 Indell in Brampton.

Hormann Speed-Commander™ 1400 SEL Food-Master High-Speed Roll-Up Door is highly energy-efficient with fast opening and closing speeds. These high-speed doors boast opening speeds up to 80″ per second, which means it can open a 10’x10′ door in 2 seconds.

It features a coil-free built-in light grid up to eight feet high and utilizes a soft bottom edge that automatically reverses in case of accidental impact, greatly reducing maintenance costs. Furthermore, it has a full-width vision panel for maximum visibility.

The door offers customizable stainless steel options and comes with two food-grade panel materials: a standard 40 oz./sq. yard white PVC fabric and an optional 90 oz./sq. yard FDA-approved white polyurethane panel material. Regardless of the chosen material, the panel maintains stability through spring steel stiffeners located in completely sealed panel pockets.

The innovative SoftEdge door technology prevents damage and resulting downtime of the door system. Extensive repairs, such as those with rigid door profiles, become unnecessary. SoftEdge ensures trouble-free operation and production processes.
