Forklift and Warehouse Pedestrian Traffic Safety Solutions

A 7-ton forklift only needs to “bump” something or someone to cause damage or an injury. In busy warehouses, there is a high risk of accidents around every corner. From turning forklifts and distracted visitors or workers.

Make sure that you have correct safety solutions in place to protect pedestrians, expensive equipment and goods. We have multiple safety solutions to prevent these accidents from happening that can do just that:

LED Mirror Alert

The LED mirror alert dome increases safety for personnel. It can detect forklifts up to 70 feet away, then display a high-visibility LED “caution” text, a directional arrow and an optional blue LED floor spotlight.

Making this safety device great for use around blind corners, hidden intersections or obstructed doorways.

Guardrails

Guardrails are great for protecting pedestrian walkways, equipment and goods from accidental forklift impacts.

We have two systems available. Steel guardrails for less frequent impacts up to 10,000 lbs at 4 mph (6.4 kpm). While flexible rebounding guardrails can withstand frequent impacts up. Able to withstand impacts up to 16,000 lbs at 4 mph (6.4 kpm).

Motion and Presence Sensors

Prevent your doors from getting hit with motion and presence sensors that can detect when forklifts are approaching or leaving.

Floor Signs

Physical or virtual floor light systems to warn pedestrians of approaching forklift traffic.

The virtual floor light system only activates when a forklift approaches. Also the flashing message can be customized and projected onto the floor or wall.

Dock Gate

The Dock Gate safety barrier can be installed across dock and doors to stop 10,000 lbs forklifts up to 7.5 lbs.

XTRA Dock Safety (XDS)

THE XDS prevents forklift roll-off and overhead door damage at the loading dock.

When the dock leveler is lower and not in use, the Door and Dock Guard (DDG) will pop up and act as guard to stop a forklift.

This is an available upgrade with most of in pit dock leveler models.
