Information
A Rolling Steel Door for High Traffic Areas
Replace old and slow doors with high-speed rolling steel doors for high-traffic areas. The springless direct drive operation can withstand high cycle environments. As a result, it boasts a 100,000-cycle warranty.
In addition, the springless direct drive design means fewer moving parts that can break down. So this door is low maintenance, especially when compared to traditional sprung doors.
High-Speed Rolling Steel Door
The Steel Ranger door has opening speeds up to 45″ per second and 20″ per second closing speeds. Therefore a 12’0″ high door can open as fast as 3.6 seconds.
Insulated Rolling Steel Door
The Steel Ranger has insulated Decotherm. 29 gauge steel panel slats, which has a polyurethane core. Each slat is 11/16″ thick and 4.3″ high.
The panel sealing technology incorporated around the entire door reduces air and noise infiltration and includes a frost-proof bottom edge.
Damage Resistant Coating
The steel skin on the slats has a triple layer skin to protect it from damage:
1. Zinc coating
2. Base coating
3. Low-friction RAL 9006 top coating
Two Styles of Vision Slats
Compact or full-width vision slats are available. Each rectangular window is 5.9″ wide x 2.16″ high, double pane, polycarbonate.
Compact
The windows are clustered together in the center of the slat.
Full-Width
The windows are spaced out across the width of the slat.
Safety First
Every Steel Ranger comes standard with a built-in light curtain. It has a 8’0″ high light grid with infrared beams every 1.75″. If a beam is interrupted, it will automatically reverse the door to protect people, vehicles and products from making contact with the door. Additionally, it has noise-reduction pads for a quiet operation.
Low-Profile and Low-Headroom Rolling Steel Door
The Steel Ranger has a compact design for confined or low-headroom locations. The low-profile aluminum guide tracks project only 4″x3″. As a result, they are less likely to be hit or damaged, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.
Pair with the LED Lite-Advance
Add the Lite-Advance door monitoring lights to signal drivers with red and green lights when it is safe to proceed through the door.
