June 10, 2015 – Northern Dock Systems Inc. announced today that it has been recognized by Enbridge Gas Distribution and Union Gas as a leading contributor towards their commercial energy saving solution programs. These programs were introduced to help businesses lower their operating costs by reducing natural gas consumption and thus reducing the negative impact their operations might have on the environment.
Since 2010, Northern Dock Systems has helped its customers receive $612,312 in energy rebate incentives from local utility companies. This financial benefit results when companies install energy saving products inside their buildings. Northern Dock Systems customers participating in this program will collectively reduce their natural gas consumption by 5.3 million cubic metres (m³), and as a result, share in savings over of $1.6 million each year.
Having worked with some of Canada’s largest companies since 2002, Northern Dock Systems has designed, provided and implemented energy-efficient plans nationwide.
