Project Overview

Our Equipment Construction and Design team worked with Blendtek and their architects on their new food manufacturing plant in Cambridge Ontario.

Northern Dock Systems offered a complete turnkey for this installation. Our team created the drawings, supplied, installed and made the electrical hookups for all of their loading dock equipment and commercial doors.

For this food manufacturing plant, we not only designed their loading dock area but also installed their internal fabric and impact doors. We supplied and installed the following:

• (10) Sectional overhead doors (C175) with polycarbonate full-view sections and PRO-HHD operators to allow natural light in and for easy operation.
• (7) High-speed fabric doors (HS200)
• (7) Hydraulic Dock Levelers (NH)
• (7) LOGI-SMART combination panels for integrated control over their doors, docks, restraints and lights.
• (7) Smart-hook trailer restraint (AR-10K)
• (7) LED Versa Lights
• (7) Dock seals (201 Series)
• (1) Impact door (1501 Series)

All these products were chosen by our Equipment Construction and Design team to lower Blendtek’s ownership costs while maximizing energy efficiency and productivity.
