THE CHALLENGE
Benjamin Moore was experiencing water infiltration during the loading and unloading of trailers. This created an immediate safety concern for employees around the loading bay area. The water also damaged products causing a reduction in productivity when orders had to be repacked prior to shipping.
OUR SOLUTION
To overcome all the issues, we installed a Nordock Rain Shield which is able to keep out the rain, snow and wind. The Rain Shield also made the area at the loading docks warmer by stopping cold air infiltration during winter months.
More importantly, employees at Benjamin Moore now have a safer working environment that is free from water hazards throughout the day. This is made possible since the rain is unable to fall off the trailer directly onto the dock plates.
