This parking garage needed a door to secure their exit and entrance, but they had limited headroom to complete the project.

Working with Northern Dock Systems’ construction department, we determined that an extra low headroom parking garage rubber door would be best for them. The low-profile header only needs 13″ of clearance, perfect for this low headroom 19’8″ wide x 7’0″ high door opening.

In addition, this door has opening speeds as high as 30″ per second. As a result, there is less of a chance of vehicles hitting this high-speed door. Should the door ever be hit, it is durable and strong enough to withstand the impact. Furthermore, the knock-away bottom bar can easily be reset in minutes.

This springless door has less moving parts than other traditional overhead doors. Therefore the less moving parts, the less likely it is to break down, saving the customer money on maintenance costs.
