Northern Dock Systems New Construction and Design team was contracted by the City of Pickering for their new Pickering Fire Services Headquarters with the supply and installation of:
Rolling Aluminum Security Grille
The 5’x9’rolling aluminum grille was the perfect solution to securely protect the space from unauthorized access. In addition, it will not limit visibility or airflow to and from the off-limit area. When not in use, the security grille stores out of sight in a compact overhead coil to create a clean aesthetic.

Four-Fold Doors
Four-Fold doors are the perfect solution for the fire station’s high-speed entrance and exit doors. With opening speeds of up to 24” per second, it can take these bi-fold doors less than 7 seconds to open. Which is critical, when every second counts during an emergency.
Furthermore, because four-fold doors open horizontally instead of vertically they are safer.This is due to drivers having full visibility of the door and what’s on the other side of the door as it’s opening. As a result, the doors are less likely to be hit and these doors prevent accidents from happening.
