Taro Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. was seeking an energy-efficient product that prevented cold air from entering their facility during winter.
After a Representative from Northern Dock Systems conducted an onsite assessment, installing Enershield Air Barriers over their three dock doors was recommended, which would:
- Create a strong environmental separation between two different areas, preventing cold air from entering the facility.
- Improve indoor comfort for employees, enhancing their operational efficiency.
- Help Taro Pharmaceutical become more energy-efficient by reducing energy consumption.
Taro Pharmaceutical also took advantage of an energy rebate program from a local utility company which provided them with a one-time energy rebate of $7,200 for their three air barriers.
Management and employees at Taro Pharmaceutical were extremely pleased with the effectiveness that three air barriers provided even while their doors remained open, and soon after reached out to NDS to order and install three more air barriers at two more of their Brampton locations.
