These mechanical dock levelers had seized and were not working due to inactivity. Instead of having to replace the dock leveler completely, Northern Dock Systems had a cost-efficient solution to convert the mechanical docks to hydraulic.
When converting these mechanical docks to hydraulic dock levelers our technician:
- Cut out and removed all mechanical parts of the dock.
- Changed out out the seized shaft with a new lip shaft.
- Installed all the hydraulic conversion kit’s components.
The hydraulic conversion kit adapts to all sizes of dock levelers and keeps repair and replacement costs low. As a result, The Treadmill Factory has minimized downtime in their daily operations by turning their mechanical dock levelers into hydraulic dock levelers with the hydraulic conversion kit.
